There was a time where indonesian young people from kids, teenager, and also an adult were pride wearing local clothing brand such as Wadezig, ProShop, UNKL347, BlackID, Ouval Research (SCH), and many more.

We were so proud wearing those brand, and the design is pretty damn good. I was 12 at that time and that was the time where I decided to become a graphic designer. It was a huge phenomenon. It become a trend and a culture for over 10 years.

But today, it seems like most of the people, the kids or teenager are more proud of wearing a non-local brand such as Supreme, BAPE, off-white, etc.

I don’t know what happened. Perhaps it has a connection where the internet become easily accessible to most of people and we also become very easy to get a new information.
