Hakita is a start-up company that creates automation legal documents, and their target is the youth that are curious about any legal document. They help them understand anything about legal terms, contract, copyright, etc in a very simple way.
They want a brand that can blend with young people and avoid the logo that has a corporate feeling on it. They want it simple and somehow put their 6 characters of the company into a logo.
I decided to use a letter H from the name as a symbol for the logo. As the new start-up company to be recognized is one of their steps to grow and to do that the easiest way to remember a brand name is by putting the first letter from the brand name into a logo, so people can easily remember the brand name while seeing an “H” letter. This is also the method that Facebook used at the beginning. This is just one of the other solutions that I approached, and we think this is the best way to create a new brand for Hakita.
Brand Identity for Hakita.

My Approach
After discussing with the client and understand what they need, I came up with several ideas.
1. Initial: I’m using an initial from their company H from Hakita, why? Because they are a new company, and what they need for the first time is people to recognize their brand, name, logo, etc easily within a second, and using their first letter is a better way to do that instead of an abstract icon.
2. I’m using 1 color for the logo. They mentioned that their target user are Millenials, and after doing some research and discussion back and forth, this is the final logo.
